Girls Ice Fishing in Bikinis!
Some bikini designer thought he would draw attention to his clothes by holding a bikini contest on a frozen lake and by making the girls try to catch fish. So, in order to make sure the videos I publish on this site are fam,ily friendly and offer good fishing techniques for my readers, I took it upon myself to evaluate the quality of the said video.
I think this sums it all up: "What if I caught something" says one of the models...
Thanks to Fishing Jones for the story.

anything to make fishin' sexy
Hello Marc,
I'm not really sure where to post this, and didn't see a way to contact you via email or such.
My name is Ned, wife is Margie and we have a 7 year old son David.
We are in the stages of planning our summer vacation for 2007. I've spent almost a half day reading your stories and enjoy them all. We where wondering if you could help us make a decision on who to stay with for some good walleye, pike, and lake trout or brook trout fishing..
I've been to Wapoos Sibi game club in the past with my Father. We enjoyed our time there, but since then, I've married and now have a family of my own. Wapoos Sibi has increased their prices alot since my last visit there and this impacts my choice. I noticed there is a place called Club Scott, if I'm not mistaken, this is in the same area as Wapoos....
I'm also looking at Lake Ogascanan.
I've always gone on the American plans, but my wife says she'd like to try the Houskeeping Plan, she would enjoy cooking in our own cabin, seeing she is of Asian decent and today she stills enjoys cooking Filipino type meals.
If you could please, give us some suggestions on places to stay and better yet, where's the best fishing for a fare price...
I did well at Wapoos and learned alot about Walleye, but I also enjoy PIke and Trout fishing
Sincerely,
The Lessor Family
Dear Lessor family
Wapoos Sibi is indeed becoming very pricy, which is why I started going to other outfitters in the same area like Club Scott a few years back.
The setup at Club Scott is interesting, most of the cabins are at the main camp, and a few of them are more isolated from one another.
Eurpean plan is available and in fact what most people choose there. Camps are equipped with gas stoves (there is limited electricity at the main camp thanks to generators).
The fishing is well above standard, you will catch 2 main species however, i.,e. brook trout is available in most lakes, and walleye is available at the Mitchinamecu Reservoir and there are 2 other lakes with walleye but I have never tried them.
Size of walleye is impressive, every year we catch a few BIG ones, i.e. 5-9 pounds.
Same goes for brook trout, 18 inch brookies (2 pound plus) are not unusual at all.
There are no pike or lake trout however, so if these are essential, you may want to seriously reconsider Wapoos Sibi or try les 100 lacs (http://www.100lacs.net/).
Good luck with your planning
Marc
That's it!
I'm moving to Minnesota.
:)
Hi Marc,
Not sure how else to contact you. I just came down froma Walleye trip to Clam Lake in Saskatchewan. I saw some odd Walleye behaviour. A few times we observed Walleye breaking the surface with their to pfin and sort of rolling around on the top of the water. There were many of them (10-50) doing it. No noticable bugs on surface but at the same tiem lots of minnows were jumping near shore. Were they all trying to avoid a big pike, sunbathing or what? Any idea?

p.s. I did catch and release a 16.9 pound Pike but no success on big Walleye this trip....
