Bass Pro Shops Toronto
A few weeks ago, I was on yet another business trip to the big boring city when I forced my friend Chris Vickerson, his wife Betty and his 2 kids to drive me to Vaughan (just on the outskirts of town) for my initiation to the Bass Pro Shops experience.
My first impression was that it reminded me a lot of another huge outdoors theme store called Gander Mountain. I visited Gander Mountain in Plattsburgh NY last year, spent at least 4 hours in there with my buddy Terry Phillips. It was a great experience.
In any case, I spent approximately 3 hours in Bass Pro Shops. I bought about 10 Rapala Shad Raps on special (I think they were $3.29 each!), a ton of crawler harnesses (they were almost giving them away) a pile of clear plastic tackle organizers, and a big boat bag to store my tackle.
Of course, 3 hours were not nearly enough to go through everything, but it was closing time and my friends looked a little bored (!), so we made our way out of the store.
I'll be back.
