Anyone find anything impressive in this year's crop of fishing gear?
Nothing really caught my eye this year, seems like the marketing machines over at Pure Fishing ran out of juice, or maybe they're still tyring to make people buy last year's stuff?

Had the same feeling about the tackle for this year. I like to try out most of the new products for that year.
There are two items i will try this year. Picked up a bunch of E-chip lures and will order some "super believer" and/or "thunder core dawg" lures.
Have you ever tried the "lucky craft" jointed body lures? I might order one or two. They are pricey.
just ordered the lowrance lms 339c df.
I tottally agree with you, I did not seem to find anything interesting except for new fishing gloves.
