Gouin Reservoir Housebolat Trip - August 6th
My next trip will be to northern Quebec, we will be visiting Les Chalets Gouin, an outfitter with houseboats. I'm heading up there with several friends and work colleagues. For those of you who are wondering why I haven't posted in a while, I'm renovating the upstairs bathroom - gutted it and rebuilding everything. It's taking up a lot of my spare time. I will write up on that trip as soon as I have some time :-)

Honestly I've only been out 5 or 6 times this year, these renovations are really keeping me away from fishing, but it also means I'm earning big point with my girlfriend - a new modern bathroom was all it took ... I'll easily be on the water every week until the end of the season once I'm done!
As a transplanted Newfoundlander living in Montreal, your eye-catching pics of fishing in the countryside reassure me that Quebec is not just a concrete jungle but shares a lot of affinities with Newfoundland and Atlantic Canada!
